The roles will be based at the Amazon fulfilment centre in Kingston Park and will assist 1, 000 permanent employees during the festive period.
An Amazon spokesperson said: The delivery station in Peterborough will have increased its permanent headcount from around 50 at the beginning of 2020, to around 100 by the end of the year.
Amazon is also looking for individuals wanting to turn free time into supplementary income, working to their own schedule to deliver Amazon packages for between £13 and £15 per hour.

Amazon has already added 3, 000 new permanent roles to its workforce across its UK network of fulfilment centre, sort centres and delivery stations.
The new roles will include engineers, graduates, HR and IT professionals, health and safety and finance specialists, as well as the teams who will pick, pack and ship customer orders.

Pay starts at £9.50 per hour for all full-time, part-time, temporary and seasonal roles in Amazon’s fulfilment centres, sort centres and delivery stations.
